ALLEN, TX — High 5 Entertainment announces their expansion to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, primarily serving the north Texas communities of Allen, McKinney, Frisco, and Plano. The Austin-born experiential entertainment company recently acquired over three acres of frontage in the new development, The Farm in Allen, on the south side of SH-121/Sam Rayburn Tollway and Alma Road.

JaRyCo Development, along with the original landowners, the Johnson family, have strategically chosen venues for The Farm in Allen that will reflect its original history of gathering, community, and making memories. High 5 will be neighbors with The HUB, an open-air entertainment venue, famous for its first location on 30A near Seaside, Florida. High 5 Allen is slated to open in late fall 2023.

“Our goal at the Farm in Allen is to bring in a diverse tenant mix that will provide Allen and surrounding communities new and innovative options, and we have found that with High 5,” said Bruce Heller, President of JaRyCo. “With a heavily landscaped miniature golf course plus options like axe throwing, virtual reality attractions, and a full bar and scratch kitchen, High 5 will offer something for everyone, and we're so glad to have them join The Farm.”

High 5 is a family entertainment company with two locations in the Greater Austin area. Like the large, two-story High 5 in Lakeway, the Allen location will feature traditional High 5 attractions, including 24 lanes of bowling, a two-story laser tag arena, axe throwing, and High 5’s signature “Up Top” boutique bowling lounge. In addition, the new location will offer escape rooms and an expansive resort-style miniature golf course allowing for outdoor entertainment. Craft food and beverages, bars, and event spaces, all key features of High 5’s brand, will be among the offerings continued in the Allen location.

“Thanks to The City of Allen, JaRyCo Development, and the Johnson Family’s work and vision, The Farm in Allen will be a destination hotspot for residents, businesspeople, and visitors,” said Scott Emley, President of High 5. “High 5 is honored to be an entertainment anchor for this award-winning development, and we are investing heavily in exciting, innovative, and fun attractions that will be unique to the area.”

High 5 opened the doors of its first location in January 2016 in Lakeway, Texas, and is the brainchild of co-founders Jennifer and Scott Emley. In late 2018, they opened their second location, a smaller boutique entertainment venue in central Austin, as well as welcomed managing partners Keri and Brad Little. The Littles come from over a decade of family entertainment experience in Oklahoma and share the Emley’s passion for growing High 5 with strategic locations and partners.

The Farm in Allen is planned to have 1.6 million square feet of office space, 142,000 square feet of retail, a 150-key hotel, 60,000 square feet of restaurants, townhomes, and 2,400 urban residential units. The development will also include a 1.5-acre lake, boardwalk restaurants, over 2.5 miles of hike and bike trails, a 16-acre greenbelt along Watters Creek, and four additional park areas.
