IRVING, TX — Dwight Storie joins CEC Facilities Group as its new Director of Mechanical Service. Storie will report to Mechanical Business Unit Leader Kurt Hansen, and guide a growing group that serves small-, medium-, and large-sized businesses in various industries.
“Dwight brings considerable knowledge and passion to CEC, which will help us raise our standard even higher,” Hansen said. “His sales and marketing background enhances his operational ability. We’re glad he’s here.”
In his 30-year career, Storie has used his experience, technical knowledge, and passion for driving client success and team growth, all to establish repeatable, predictable performance for his teams.
In his most recent post, Storie led design-build general contracting pursuits, focused on new markets, and line of business expansion. While he enjoyed the work, he wanted to lead a team again. At CEC, he will return to the director role, in which he has succeeded with multiple industry leaders.
“I enjoyed connecting clients with the best option for them, but I also enjoy developing a team to reach its full potential,” Storie said. “At CEC, we have a great group of experts that will continue to bring the best to our clients in new and exciting ways.”
Storie brings experience serving government, public education, health care, and industrial clients. He is well-known through regional industry connections, and has national contacts through positions throughout the Midwest, New York, Houston, and Canada.
Storie holds degrees from the University of Alberta, North Alberta Institute of Technology, and the University of Wisconsin. He earned construction management and business development certificates from Johnson Controls, Siemens, and Linc Training Institute. He is a member of the Association of Physical Plant Administrators, the National Association of Energy Service Companies, the United States Green Building Council, and the Texas PACE Authority.
