Vetter has more than 32 years of combined experience in engineering and management. In this new role at KAI, Vetter will provide company-wide technical expertise in the electrical engineering discipline and act in the lead electrical engineering role on high-profile projects. He will also perform quality assurance and quality control on electrical projects, serve as engineering project manager for large engineering-driven projects, and support KAI’s national engineering principals across all offices. Additionally, he will recruit and support the career development of new talent, mentor electrical discipline team members, and support sales efforts for new projects around the MEP disciplines.

Prior to KAI, Vetter held the title of Principal - Electrical Department Head at Smith Seckman Reid in Dallas-Fort Worth. There he provided department management and technical direction in the electrical engineering department and was responsible for electrical department staff management, production scheduling, and technical quality. He also previously held the positions of Associate - Lead Engineering Project Manager and Project Manager at Dallas-based Aguirre Roden.
Vetter has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Colorado, Mississippi, Virginia, and South Carolina. He is also certified in Modicon PLC Programming; NSA Food Safety; ASCOA Fire Suppression Systems Design, Installation, and Inspection; and Carrier Design. He is registered as a Record Model Law Engineer through NCEES and received the 30 Hour Construction Safety Certification through OSHA.
