Melton comes to BGE with more than 20 years of experience leading design, permitting, and project management efforts to provide cost-effective solutions for an array of infrastructure needs. These efforts include large industrial, commercial, retail, medical, single-family developments, oil/gas permitting projects, and more. Melton’s range of expertise covers civil design and analysis software; water, sewer, and drainage studies; and managing teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
In his new role with BGE, Melton brings his experience and leadership to the Fort Worth Land/Site team to help manage the growth the firm has experienced over the past few years.

Melton received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Texas Tech University. Melton is registered as a licensed Engineer in Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Illinois.

BGE also announces that Jason Sjulin, PE, has joined the firm’s South Austin office as Senior Project Manager in the Construction Management department.
Sjulin comes to BGE with more than 21 years of construction-related experience, including contract administration, engineering and inspection, quality control, and management of complex highway and bridge projects. He also brings years of design experience with bridges, roadways, and buildings.
“As a deeply talented engineer with an extensive background in structural design and construction, Jason will both help us deliver the solutions our clients want and serve as a company-wide technical resource,” said Wes Jasek, Central Texas Region Operations Leader.
Sjulin earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Iowa State University. He is registered as a licensed Engineer in Florida and Arkansas and is working to obtain his license in Texas.
