“I am honored to work with Mayor Watson, Judge Brown, community leaders, and fellow industry experts to develop a community-centric plan that effectively addresses the need for a robust and skilled mobility and infrastructure workforce,” Haywood said. “This effort is critical to successfully deliver the transformational mobility projects envisioned and presently in progress within the region.”
The Leadership Group’s primary objectives include understanding the future skill demands for regional transformative mobility projects, evaluating the scalability of Austin’s training programs for construction and mobility, and devising an action plan to strengthen the future mobility and infrastructure workforce.
Haywood is President of HNTB’s Central Division, which encompasses offices in nine states. In this leadership role, he is responsible for overseeing complex infrastructure programs, business operations, and leading more than 750 multi-disciplinary HNTB professionals.
