CHICAGO, IL — The Walsh Group announces the promotion of Nick Everson to Senior Vice President within the company’s transportation division. Everson will provide senior executive leadership over all aspects of preconstruction and construction services for The Walsh Group’s Midwest transportation operations.

His ability to deliver results, foster collaboration, work across business lines, and drive continued growth reflects the confidence we have in his leadership moving forward,” said Dan Walsh Jr., President of The Walsh Group’s transportation division, and part of the fourth generation of family ownership. Everson has been with The Walsh Group for 22 of his 25 years in the construction industry. He has technical expertise and leadership experience from his previous roles, most recently as Vice President of Midwest Transportation. He has overseen a series of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects across the Midwest, and he has been instrumental in securing a substantial portfolio of projects, including the upcoming $2.8 billion Red Line Extension. Everson has overseen the operations of the $492 million I-270 Chain of Rocks Bridge, the $221 million I-294 northbound improvements from Roosevelt Road to St. Charles Road, and the $321 million I-294 southbound reconstruction from St. Charles Road to the Cermak Toll Plaza. He has also worked across business lines to prepare massive site improvements for a large data center project in southern Wisconsin.
