OMAHA, NE — Ronco Construction was honored with its sixth consecutive National AGC Safety Award from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Nebraska Building Chapter. The award, presented at the Fall Social and Awards Dinner, recognizes firms for exceptional safety performance and commitment to maintaining safe job sites.
“I’ve always said the best safety program is the one that becomes second nature. It’s just the way we do business,” said Mike Langford, Chief Operating Officer at Ronco Construction. “From the superintendents to the newest laborer, everyone plays a role in making sure our people go home safe, our projects stay on track, and our reputation stands on doing the right thing even when no one’s watching.”
This commendation was awarded for achieving a zero-incident rate for 110,000 to 274,999 work hours. This award marks the 22nd National AGC Safety Award Ronco has earned in its 49-year history. This annual safety award reflects hundreds of small, consistent actions taken every day — planning, pre-installation meetings, speaking up, and taking the time to do it right.
“This recognition highlights the dedication, focus, and teamwork our field crews bring to every job," said Alicia Plessner, Ronco’s 2026 Safety Committee Chair. "At Ronco, safety isn’t just a requirement; it’s part of how we work, built on looking out for one another.”
