OMAHA, NE — Chris Rupert, AICP, LEED AP, of LEO A DALY, has been appointed to the City of Omaha Planning Board by Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert.

Rupert is a certified planner with more than two decades of experience at the integrated engineering and architecture firm. She is LEO A DALY’s Omaha Market Sector Leader for public and institutional work. She also serves on the board of Grow Sarpy and is a graduate of Leadership Omaha Class 33. At LEO A DALY, she has touched community-building projects across the metro area including design of Omaha’s first bus rapid transit stations, and planning for the Omaha VA Medical Center that helped transform the campus and veteran care in Nebraska.

The Omaha Planning Board is an appointed body that makes recommendations to the City Council on matters of land use. This includes land subdivision and zoning proposals, street vacations and dedications, disposal of surplus property, and review of proposed changes to the city’s master plan.
