OMAHA, NE — RDG Planning & Design announces that Erin Van Zee has joined the firm and will serve as its Communications Director. Van Zee will be a key member of RDG’s leadership team, advancing the company’s brand and providing strategic direction for both internal and external communications. She will be located in the firm’s Omaha, Nebraska, office.

“We are excited to have Erin join the firm. She has the skills and talents to collaborate with individuals throughout our organization to develop, implement and oversee an annual communications plan for our global enterprise,” said RDG Principal and Chief Marketing Officer Scott Crawford, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP.

Van Zee joins RDG with over eight years of experience in brand management, communications, marketing and public relations. She has served in a variety of communications and marketing roles within the design and construction industry, developing strategies and executing communications plans for national and international firms.

Van Zee earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in English with an advanced certificate in technical communication and information design from the University of Nebraska Omaha and is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America. Van Zee also serves on the board of the Latino Center of the Midlands.
