“Nan brings a unique perspective to the team as someone who not only knows the challenges and needs of health care providers, but also how to provide top facilities so staff can do their jobs and patients can feel the most comfortable during their visits,” said Joel Jacobsen, Architectural Director at Burns & McDonnell.
Knecht now leads a team of architects, designers, and engineers that has designed facilities such as the Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Building at the University of Missouri, as well as the university’s Children’s Hospital now under construction.
“I know this team has the knowledge, creativity, and ability to design and build the kinds of facilities that modern health care demands, and I’m excited to help work with clients to find solutions for their needs,” Knecht said.
