HDR has a long history of successful work in the PA/OH/WV area, including providing on-call engineering services for the Philadelphia International Airport and helping develop the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority Strategic Plan, the Pittsburgh International Airport Terminal Modernization Program, and the Liberty Bridge Rehabilitation.
With more than 30 years of structural engineering, bridge, and highway design experience, Riley has continued to advance his expertise by developing leadership skills related to managing transportation practices. Prior to joining HDR, he led the Mid-Atlantic structural excellence center for his previous firm, responsible for staff and resource and coordination for a variety of transportation projects. Riley has helped lead projects from preliminary engineering through final design for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Delaware River Port Authority, Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, Virginia DOT, Georgia DOT, and the South Jersey Transportation Authority.
