NEW YORK, NY — FlatironDragados has launched SPC Construction Co. LLC, a subsidiary bringing together the expertise and people of its New York/New Jersey area civil construction businesses — Schiavone Construction Co. LLC, John P. Picone, Inc., and E.E. Cruz & Company, Inc. This integration of organizations creates an extensive marketplace presence in the New York metropolitan area.

With over 70 years of experience, the organizations coming together as SPC Construction integrate skills and experience to deliver solutions to infrastructure challenges. Schiavone brings to the new company expertise in tunneling, mass transit and subways, bridges and highways, deep foundations, marine work, and water treatment plants. Picone has experience in public works, specifically in tunneling, hydraulic works, and water infrastructure. E.E. Cruz focuses on transportation infrastructure, resiliency protection, deep foundations, bridges, and geotechnical projects.
