STV Honored as WTS Greater New York Employer of the Year

NEW YORK, NY — The WTS Greater New York (WTS-GNY) chapter has named STV the Employer of the Year, recognizing the firm’s ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and advancing the recruitment, development, and leadership of women in the transportation and infrastructure industry.

“This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our teams who work tirelessly to create a supportive, collaborative environment where everyone can thrive,” said Iris Giboyeaux, Vice President and Director of Operations and Strategy at STV. "Our focus on empowering women and promoting growth across the organization makes this award especially meaningful.”

The Employer of the Year Award — which was presented at the chapter’s annual meeting and awards dinner — honors organizations with a strong record of hiring and promoting women, that support continuing education and professional development, and provide mentorship and internship opportunities for women pursuing careers in transportation. STV’s selection highlights a long-standing focus on building equitable career pathways and investing in talent.

“Our people are at the heart of everything we do,” said Asal Khanbilvardi, Business Development Manager at STV. “We’re humbled that WTS-GNY has chosen to highlight STV’s commitment to career development and engagement across the transportation community through mentorship and professional development. We strive to create an environment where women are supported, strengthened, and encouraged to grow their careers.”

STV advances women in transportation through targeted mentorship and leadership development programs, support for continuing education, and active engagement with professional organizations and academic institutions. These initiatives help provide women across the firm access to opportunities that support long-term career growth and leadership advancement, thereby strengthening the industry.

“At STV, building an inclusive organization and advancing women in transportation drives our strategy,” said Marcos Díaz González, President of the Transportation North team at STV. “WTS-GNY’s recognition reflects our continued commitment to expanding opportunity and supporting long-term career growth across our firm.”
