Morgan Named Office Leader for HNTB’s Central US Offices in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa

KANSAS CITY, MO — Tim Morgan, PE, has been named HNTB Corporation’s Office Leader for the firm’s Central U.S. offices in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa. A Vice President, Morgan has 15 years of technical expertise and leadership experience in transportation infrastructure in the region. He previously served as HNTB’s Oklahoma Practice Leader for the past two years.
Morgan leads more than 200 multidisciplinary professionals in Kansas City, Missouri; Overland Park, Kansas; St. Louis, Missouri; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Bettendorf, Iowa. Employees deliver bridge, aviation, toll, highway, transit, rail, planning, program/construction management and other services to clients throughout the region.
“Tim brings a demonstrated track record of success on many of HNTB’s most visible projects,” said Michael Inabinet, PE, HNTB Central Region President. “His leadership skills, combined with deep technical knowledge and commitment to the communities we serve, are tremendous assets to our employees and clients.”
Morgan joined HNTB in 2004, serving as a Project Manager throughout the early portion of his tenure. He led projects for a wide range of clients, including state departments of transportation, toll authorities and municipalities.
As Oklahoma Practice Leader, Morgan oversaw project delivery and client service for Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, City of Oklahoma City and City of Tulsa. Additionally, he led employee growth and brand-building for HNTB in the state. He gained experience in government relations and community engagement efforts.
Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He is an active member of American Public Works Association, Society of American Military Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies and International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association. He is a registered Professional Engineer in four states.
