DALLAS, TX — AWP Safety, a traffic control and work zone safety company, announces that Jim Ring has been named Vice President of the Gulf Coast Division, which includes Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Additionally, Tom Bauer has been appointed Vice President of Commercial for the Gulf Coast Division.

Ring brings more than 25 years of experience leading large, multi-site service organizations through growth, performance improvement, and acquisitions. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Beacon Mobility, where he led the company’s largest region and integrated seven acquisitions into one organization. His previous roles with National Express, First Student, Lowe’s, and DHL Express have prepared him to manage complex operations while supporting customers in multiple markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Atlanta and an executive Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.

As Vice President of Commercial for the Gulf Coast Division, Bauer leads regional sales strategy, forecasting, and customer development across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. He most recently served as Chief Operations and Commercial Officer at Farmer Brothers Coffee Company, building on more than 25 years of experience in sales, strategy, and execution. Bauer has also held leadership positions with Emerald Brand, Primo Brands, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch, where he built customer relationships, developed teams, and helped grow regional businesses.
