“I’ve felt for a long time that Bobby’s career path within the company has been pointing to this destination," said Patrick Tenney, Executive Board Member, and Company Treasurer. "It’s the right time, and his character, leadership skills, and experience will serve the next generation of our company very well.”
Gosser began his 35-year career with Baldwin & Shell when the late Bob Shell recruited Gosser away from the nationally-based Pickens-Bond Construction Company. Gosser has worked in various capacities in the company, including Estimator, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Division Manager, Vice President, Division President, and President-Elect.
Gosser made his mark in the company and industry when Bob Shell promoted him to Division Manager and created a new division within the company, the Construction Services Division, which became a significant portion of the company’s portfolio of customers and company growth. In 2013, Gosser managed the company’s strategic plan, which was the catalyst to the company taking on new growth, and in 2014 was promoted to President of the Central Arkansas Division. Under his leadership, the division quickly became the largest division in the company attributing to the record growth in 2018 to over $300 million.
“I am prepared and excited to work alongside the company’s board of directors while continuing to provide top-quality, cost-effective construction projects for current and future customers," Gosser said.
