FRANKLIN, TN — Garver announces the addition of Matthew Goette, PE, as Transportation Team Leader based in its Franklin, Tennessee, office. In his role, Goette will lead Garver’s transportation practice in the state, while partnering with agencies and municipalities to solve their infrastructure challenges.
“With his proven experience improving transportation networks in the state, Matthew brings valuable expertise to help Garver strengthen our commitment in Tennessee,” said John Cantabery, PE, Garver’s South Central Region Transportation Director. “This state has been a large part of Garver’s history over the last three decades, and we’re ready to invest even more in Tennessee and its communities.”
With almost 20 years of experience working in the state, Goette brings an understanding of its transportation infrastructure needs as well as relationships with local and state agencies.
“I’m excited to join Garver and to continue its tradition of having a positive impact in Tennessee,” Goette said. “This is a state I know well and care deeply about. I look forward to building a team that delivers innovative, client-focused solutions that keep our communities thriving.”
With a background in traffic engineering, Intelligent Transportation Systems design, and roadway design, Goette will provide Garver’s full suite of transportation services to department of transportation and municipal clients across the state. His role will include team building, client development, and project delivery.

Goette holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in both Tennessee and Georgia.
