Manhattan Construction received Build Oklahoma Awards and Best of the Best Awards for constructing the WinStar World Casino & Resort Expansion in Thackerville and the Stillwater Medical Center - Phase 1 in Stillwater. Manhattan Construction also received Build Oklahoma Awards for the Tulsa Botanic Garden, Stanford Family Liberty Garden, and Bumgarner Lotus Pool in Tulsa, and the St. John Catholic Student Center | New Church & Student Center in Stillwater.
The WinStar World Casino & Resort Expansion won in the Commercial, $50 Million+ category. Built by Manhattan Construction and designed by HBG Design, the expansion includes a 312,578-square-foot WinStar Lucus Oil Live! event center, a 227,286-square-foot hotel with 304 rooms, a 26,618-square-foot hotel spa/lobby, a six-level parking garage with 1,200 parking spaces, a standalone Central Utility Plant, a pedestrian bridge, and site and civil work. This project includes more than 1 million square feet of additional space for entertainment and hospitality needs.
The Stillwater Medical Center - Cancer Center Phase 1 Expansion won in the Health Care, up to $5 Million category. Built by Manhattan Construction and designed by REES, the expansion provides patients with diagnostic CT scans, radiation therapies, and bone marrow aspiration procedures. The project's first phase added a 2,600-square-foot mass concrete linear accelerator vault housing a new piece of cancer-fighting equipment.
The Tulsa Botanic Garden, Stanford Family Liberty Garden, and Bumgarner Lotus Pool won in the Recreational/Park, $5 Million to $10 Million category. This project, constructed by Manhattan Construction and specialty contractor JONESPLAN, LLC, added three acres of developed gardens to the Botanic Garden. Adding the Liberty Garden and Lotus Pool provides the nonprofit garden space to host public and private events.

The St. John Catholic Student Center | New Church & Student Center won in the Institutional, $10 Million to $20 Million category. Built by Manhattan Construction, designed by Cram & Ferguson Architects, and engineered by Pierce Engineers, Inc., the 40,700-square-foot St. John Catholic Student Center | New Church & Student Center is more than double the previous buildings’ size to provide a space that fits the growing ministry within it. The new church and student center accommodates 408 people for Mass and provides space for student gatherings, bible studies, and study rooms.
