BATON ROUGE, LA — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces continued progress on the Pecue Lane/I-10 Interchange Project, which is currently in its third and final phase of construction.
Crews are actively working on several major components of the project, including construction of the new northbound Pecue Lane roadway and the northbound Pecue Lane Bridge over Ward Creek. Eastbound and westbound I-10 bridge widening over Ward Creek is also underway along with placement of concrete for the new I-10 on- and off-ramps.
Additional ongoing work includes the installation of new drainage structures, sidewalks, and driveways along Pecue Lane. Foundations for light poles and high mast poles are also being installed, as well as signal equipment for the new ramp signals.
The project remains on track for completion in mid-2026. Once finished, the improvements will improve traffic flow, increase safety, and support continued growth in the Baton Rouge area.
