KANSAS CITY, MO — HNTB Corporation names Cameron McGown, PE, as Central States Office Leader and Vice President. In this role, McGown will oversee the firm’s operations across Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Iowa, leading multidisciplinary teams that deliver transportation and infrastructure solutions for clients and communities throughout the region.

McGown brings more than 20 years of experience with HNTB, where he has built his career across technical delivery, project leadership, operations, business development, and client service. Most recently, he served as Business Development Officer, supporting strategic growth, client relationships, and infrastructure solutions that respond to evolving community needs. He previously served as Kansas Practice Leader, guiding market growth, client service, and multidisciplinary delivery across the state.

Since joining HNTB in 2001, McGown has helped deliver complex infrastructure programs for transportation clients across the region, bringing experience in planning, design, program management, client strategy, and multidisciplinary team leadership. His background gives him an understanding of the priorities shaping mobility, connectivity, and infrastructure investment across highway, transit, aviation, and other critical markets.
