TrueLook, Construction Camera Company, Completes North Carolina Office Expansion
“We’re building on the success we had in 2018 and laying the foundation for continued growth in 2019,” said Ken Pittman, TrueLook’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We’re in a dynamic industry, and the additional space will boost our productivity and give us room for the future so we can focus on innovation and providing our customers with the best available camera technology in the construction sector.”
In 2018, TrueLook increased the size of its staff by 30 percent. The company saw a 43 percent increase in bookings and a 33 percent increase in deals won over the previous year. They also added two new products: the robotic 4K pan-tilt-zoom construction site camera and the 4K cellular indoor camera.
Several strategic partnerships were also made during 2018 by integrating with project management software Procore, productivity software PlanGrid and Autodesk’s BIM 360 project delivery and construction management software.
Winston-Salem’s downtown has undergone extensive redevelopment in recent years, with an estimated $1.5 billion in private and public investment since 2000.
“Our growth is having a positive impact on the city, in particular the downtown area,” Pittman said. “This project is an investment in Winston-Salem and the exciting improvements that are taking place in the center city. It’s also an investment in the city’s tech industry, which has played a major role in the transformation of the city over the last two decades.”
