CHANTILLY, VA — Henderson Companies, the parent company of Henderson Engineers and Henderson Building Solutions, welcomes Alan Sinks as Corporate Safety Director. Based out of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, Sinks will lead the continued advancement of the company‘s safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and support efficient project execution and the well-being of employees, clients, and partners.

Sinks began his career serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant of marines. Following his military service, he served as a Lead Field Support Representative in Afghanistan, supporting the deployment and operation of counter-suicide bomber technology designed to protect U.S. and coalition forces. He later gained experience in business operations and government contracting before transitioning into construction safety, where he spent more than 11 years leading safety initiatives for Clark Construction Group.

Sinks will work closely with Rhett Belser, Safety Director at Henderson Building Solutions.
