RICHMOND, VA — KBS recognized two project teams for displaying excellence in quality and safety standards.

The South Falls team was given the Excellence in Safety award. The team includes: Gary Williams, Project Manager; Ben Khandan-Barani, Project Engineer; Scott Stallard, Norman Stallings, and Swain Priest, Superintendents; and April Shumate (not pictured), Project Assistant.

“The 14-story jobsite located downtown adjacent to the James River is maintained in impeccably clean condition,” said Mark Lambert, Corporate Safety Director. “They have maintained compliance with CDC and KBS guidelines to mitigate COVID-19 transmission by providing multiple hand wash stations and informational sheets posted at each of the 14-stair landings.”

South Falls is a 14-story high-rise with 256 units, ground-level retail space, and 279 parking spaces. Located between the James River flood wall and the Manchester Canal, the 224,968-square-foot development will be a definitive component of Richmond’s southside skyline.

The Goose Creek II project team was given the Excellence in Quality award. The team includes: Brian Barrett, Superintendent; Jason McBride, Project Manager; Randy Talley, Denico Veteran/Consultant (not pictured); and Amy Hale, Project Assistant (not pictured).
