CHARLESTON, SC — Construction industry veteran Janet Bates, current President of the Palmetto Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), joins JE Dunn Construction as Client Solutions Manager responsible for business development in Charleston and the surrounding low country. Bates heads JE Dunn’s efforts to build long-term strategic relationships with clients in the commercial office, education, hospitality, and healthcare markets.

In addition to serving on the NAWIC Palmetto Chapter Board of Directors, Bates is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women Charleston, the Urban Land Institute, and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Developers Council. She also sits on the National Green Building Standard Advisory Group. Her work with NAWIC garnered her national recognition last year as the NAWIC 2019 Future Leader of the Year.
