CHARLOTTE, NC — Balfour Beatty announces the promotion of Mike Wehner to Vice President of Operations in the Carolinas. Previously Operations Director, Wehner now oversees operations and business development across the Carolinas special projects group, where he leads teams in implementing the geography's client-focused operational model.
Wehner joined Balfour Beatty in 2011, bringing experience in retail and corporate interiors construction. Over his tenure with the company, he has managed a diverse portfolio in the Carolinas that spans retail establishments, corporate headquarters, health care facilities, and entertainment complexes. Additionally, Wehner's leadership has been instrumental in diversifying the Carolinas project portfolio from majority office upfits to executing operations to deliver industrial labs, mission critical work, and mid-size, ground-up building construction in the area.
