CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 showcased a significant array of new electric and sustainable equipment, ranging from zero-emission compact machinery to hybrid power systems. Among the innovations featured:
- CASE Construction Equipment: Debuting the TL100EV electric mini track loader, a stand-on unit featuring a 25 kWh battery and three independent electric motors. They also displayed the 580EV electric backhoe, emphasizing zero-emissions power for unique job site requirements.
- New Holland Construction: Unveiling the E25X electric mini excavator and C314X electric mini track loader. These additions join existing electric models like the ML22X small articulated loader and E15X mini excavator.
- Volvo Construction Equipment: Showcasing its mid-size L120 Electric wheel loader and third-generation L20 Electric and L25 Electric compact wheel loaders, as well as the 23-ton EC230 Electric excavator.
- Takeuchi: Integrating new remote operation technologies into the TB20e electric compact hydraulic excavator as part of its focus on greener job site solutions.
- Bobcat: Introducing the PA460V portable air compressor with smart features like electronic inlet control and an optional eco-mode for greater efficiency. They also featured the RogueX3, a fully electric and autonomous concept loader.
- Hitachi Global Air Power (Sullair): Showcasing their line of electric portable air compressors — including the OFE1550 (oil-free), E425H, and E1035H — and the business case for reduced operating costs while meeting evolving sustainability requirements.
- CK Power: Unveiling the 2G DR aura 412, a single-engine generator that delivers 530 kWe of prime power using natural gas.
- John Deere: Featuring a pre-production 310 battery-electric backhoe alongside a concept mobile charging solution and the 824 X-Tier wheel loader with an exclusive Electric Variable Transmission for sustainability. Their current engine lineup is engineered for fuel flexibility, supporting biodiesel and renewable diesel fuel.
- Genie: Introducing the S-85 XC FE (hybrid) and S-85 XC E (electric) telescopic boom lifts. Both models are powered by a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. The third-generation hybrid system can run a full workday in electric mode or a full work week on one tank of fuel.
- Liebherr: Showcasing the LH 60 M Industry E, an electrically driven material handler designed for quiet, emission-free operation with an energy recovery system to reduce consumption.
- LGMG North America: Launching the SS1532ER and SS1932ER electric micro scissor lifts, featuring permanent magnet synchronous lift motors for higher efficiency.
- Doka: Debuting Xlife top, the industry's first formwork sheet with a core made of 100 percent recycled plastic, designed for multiple reuse cycles to reduce material waste.
