Minder, a 16-year veteran with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, has worked on several multi-departmental projects and was essential in leveraging federal and state funding for capital improvement projects. He is also responsible for designing and finding funding for over 30 miles of multi-use trails.
“Wes is prepared for this role, and I believe his experience and vision will help make KC Water an even stronger and more customer-centric department than it already is,” Platt said.
Minder is a Registered Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University.
