Ceco Concrete Construction Announces Battles as President
In his 31-year tenure at Ceco, Battles has served the company in various roles and levels of management, working at Ceco operations in Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, New Orleans and — most recently — San Antonio for the past 12 years.
Battles has worked on numerous Ceco projects throughout the years, including Chase Field in Phoenix. Chase Field, formerly Bank One Ballpark, is the nation’s first stadium with a retractable roof over a natural grass playing surface, which was replaced by synthetic turf in 2019.
Battles holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from Oklahoma State University.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to lead Ceco Concrete Construction into its next chapter,” Battles said. “We have a strong team in place to help us achieve our mission of leading the construction industry in the delivery of innovative, client-focused, structural solutions that provide exceptional client results.”
Founded in 1912, Ceco Concrete Construction helps clients build structures through innovation and technology such as Building Information Modeling. Ceco’s national resources and local presence provide support from schematic design through top-out of cast-in-place concrete structures. With 15 locations across the United States, Ceco is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, and is one of several companies comprising the Heico Construction Group — a group of companies owned by the parent holding company Heico.
