KANSAS CITY, MO — Clarkson Construction welcomes Russ Clayton, CSP, to the team as the new Vice President of Risk Management.
Clayton brings a wealth of experience in leading safety and risk programs across as variety of industries. He said he is passionate about crafting safer, more efficient workplaces, and has spent his career helping teams reduce risk, prevent incidents, and strengthen training and compliance efforts.
Before joining Clarkson, Clayton served as the Director of Safety and Training at Tilson, where he led safety initiatives across several states and worked closely with teams on construction projects. His hands-on experience and leadership have made him a resource in the field of workplace safety.
Clayton holds a master's degree in occupational safety and health and a bachelor's degree in construction management. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), as well as an OSHA and MSHA-authorized trainer.
As Vice President of Risk Management, Clayton will oversee Clarkson's safety programs, continuing the growth of the company's culture of safety and encouraging continuous improvement throughout the organization.
