LEAWOOD, KS — Henderson Engineers hires Mindy Garrett as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). Garrett, who has more than 22 years of human resources (HR) experience within professional services, will oversee the HR department, employee and leadership development, and spearhead company culture initiatives including diversity and inclusion programs.

Initially, Garrett will be focused on welcoming Henderson employees back to the workplace after more than a year of working from home. Staff came back in a limited capacity in June with a full return to offices slated for September.

Prior to Henderson, Garrett was the Director of HR Consulting at Cerner Corporation. Preceding that, she served as Senior Vice President-HR Partner at Swiss RE. During her 13 years with the company, she led HR efforts in the U.S. and internationally.

Garrett is a graduate of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, where she earned her master’s degree in human resources and her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources.
