A recent graduate of Iowa State University, Stokes joined RDG in 2020 and during that time has contributed to designs for the firm’s Sports Market, including work for Montana State University, the University of Michigan, and Southeast Polk Community School District. Throughout 2022, Stokes was actively involved with IAF and assisted with the organization’s walking tours, served on multiple committees, and donated graphic design services.
“Since joining RDG, Lauren has been a highly valued team member — one who is both a talented designer and a skilled collaborator. We could not be prouder of her for being named IAF’s Volunteer of the Year; that is fantastic,” said RDG Principal Jack Patton, AIA, LEED AP. “She will undoubtedly excel in her service as a member of the IAF Board of Trustees, and we know there are many more great things to come from Lauren in her career.”
Established in 1989, the IAF is a nonprofit organization that seeks to inspire an appreciation for architecture and design through classes, walking, and motor coach tours, virtual presentations, a statewide Community Enhancement Through Architecture Award program, Architects in the Schools, Adventures in Architecture summer day camp, and other special events.
