DES MOINES, IA — The Weitz Company welcomes Scott Seeliger to the Iowa Commercial Business Unit as a Business Development Manager. With a diverse professional background, Seeliger will bring knowledge and perspective to the role.

Seeliger has been active in the Des Moines community since his move to the area in 2001. He is a graduate of Leadership Iowa and the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute Community Leadership Program. Seeliger was also a finalist for The Technology Association of Iowa’s Emerging Tech Leader of the Year.

“After spending the last two decades serving Des Moines in a variety of roles and industries, I am excited for this next opportunity with Weitz where I can continue to serve my community and grow Iowa,” Seeliger said. “I am extremely excited to work with such knowledgeable, fun, and engaging team members. Weitz has a great culture and a long history of giving back to the greater Des Moines community.”

Seeliger graduated from Knox College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
