LINCOLN, NE — The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Research Institute announces that Olsson has increased their support with a Founder Circle donation in support of its directive to deliver knowledge and business strategies that guide and elevate the engineering industry.
Olsson is an employee-owned engineering and design firm in Nebraska. Olsson’s mission is to leave the world a better place than they found it, and the company is an active member of the cities and towns where they work, live, and serve. This contribution demonstrates Olsson’s commitment to creating a more sustainable, safe, secure, and technically advanced engineering industry.
“Olsson has long understood that communities thrive when informed by data and guided by purpose. We are grateful for their continued support, now at the Founder Circle level, that enables the institute to continue producing research that helps firms navigate market conditions with confidence,” said Steve Lefton, Chair of the ACEC Research Institute. “Olsson’s support reflects a belief in shared responsibility and collective action, two principles that are at the core of the institute’s mission.”
In addition to conducting original research, the institute has awarded $678,000 in student scholarships over the last year to help future engineers join the industry.
The ACEC Research Institute’s data is often cited by the media and is available on the Bloomberg Terminal, a tool for financial professionals that provides real-time data, news, and analytics. The institute’s experts are also frequent contributors to industry podcasts.
