Wittstruck is a design firm focused on providing crossing and wayside signal design services for the rail market. Founded in 1989, Wittstruck is located in Omaha's Rockbrook Village, and has 10 employees.
"Olsson has been interested in adding signal design for many years to be able to provide a more complete set of services to our rail clients,” said Brad Strittmatter, Olsson’s CEO.
“Wittstruck is known as a responsive, client-focused partner, which is aligned with Olsson’s philosophy,” he said. “We’re excited to bring their staff into our firm.”
The acquisition is anticipated to close on November 1, 2021.

Terms of the acquisition will not be released.
Olsson is an engineering firm that offers design and consulting services in planning and design, engineering, field services, environmental, and technology.
