CEDAR RAPIDS, IA — HR Green announces that Brian Willham, PE, PTOE, PTP, has joined the firm as Transportation Planning Director and Senior Project Manager based in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, office.

Willham brings over 23 years of experience managing comprehensive and corridor plan studies, intersection improvement plans, traffic impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian facility improvements, traffic signal designs, and roadway design in the public and private sectors.

In this role, Willham will focus on growing HR Green’s footprint in transportation planning. His wide-ranging background includes work on complete streets programs, obtaining project funding, and integrating multi-discipline efforts for comprehensive transportation solutions.

“I am excited to join the HR Green team to support our clients with transportation planning and policy efforts, help position them to take advantage of increased federal infrastructure funding opportunities, and improve and expand multi-modal transportation networks for their residents,” Willham said.

Willham earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Iowa and a Certified Public Manager certificate from Drake University. He is a member of the American Planning Association and the Institute of Transportation Engineers, where he is Treasurer for the MOVITE district.
