“We are excited to continue our planning and design work with Bryant Athletics,” said Chris Sgarzi, Sasaki Principal. “This project supports their vision for student and community engagement and helps further their growing success in Division I athletics.”
The project is an opportunity for Bryant University to create a new performance venue while also enhancing the adjacent stadium. The stadium is set to include an improved entry sequence and plaza, a new sense of enclosure, and shared viewing and support facilities. The arena will be able to house up to 4,400 participants.
Sasaki also designed the Bryant University Bulldog Strength & Conditioning Center, which was completed in 2015. The 10,000-square-foot facility provides varsity athletes with a state-of-the-art weight training environment, designed both to strengthen teams for competition and recruit new talent.
