CROSBY, TX — Lockwood, Andrews, and Newnam, Inc. (LAN) announces the groundbreaking ceremony to expand Crosby High School. The event marks the beginning of a project that will enhance the educational facilities at Crosby High School and meet the growing needs of the community.
The expansion project includes the construction of a new academic wing featuring two floors, each comprising 16 classrooms and four labs, resulting in a total of 32 classrooms and eight labs. Additionally, the Career and Technical Education section will be expanded on the south side of the high school, providing advanced facilities to support vocational programs.
"We are excited to commence this project, which will provide much-needed space and resources for Crosby High School," said Robert Arcement, PMP, AC, Program Manager with LAN. “This expansion is a testament to our commitment to supporting the educational needs of our community."
Once completed, the expansion will accommodate an additional 900 students, ensuring that Crosby High School can continue to offer a high-quality educational environment for its growing student population.
“LAN efficiently managed integrating our design changes into the initial plans, guiding the design process accordingly. This expansion marks a pivotal moment for Crosby High School as we embark on an exciting new chapter that will transform our campus and elevate the educational experience for our students,” Superintendent Paula Patterson said.
