LEWISVILLE, TX — McAdams, a multidisciplinary planning, design, and engineering firm specializing in site/civil design, geomatics, planning and design, transportation, water resources, and construction administration, announces the additions of industry veterans Michael Chisholm and Brook Retta to its North Texas public infrastructure team. These new additions further strengthen the firm's ability to serve Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) municipalities and public agencies as it continues to expand its regional presence.

"Cities across North Texas are facing tremendous growth and increasing expectations around mobility, connectivity, and infrastructure," Akers said. "Michael’s extensive public sector leadership and Brook’s transportation experience within a fast-growing municipality powerfully augment our ability to partner with communities as they plan for the future, whether that's for roadway improvements, utility infrastructure, or multimodal transportation networks that support long-term economic prosperity."

Chisholm will serve as McAdams’ DFW Public Infrastructure Practice Lead, leveraging more than 15 years of civil engineering, roadway design, and municipal project management experience to serve McAdams’ growing North Texas public sector client base. Most recently, Chisholm served as Roadway Group Manager at STV (previously CP&Y), where he played a key team leadership role in expanding the firm's North Texas municipal engineering practice.

Retta brings more than a decade of civil engineering experience to his role as McAdams’ Transportation Senior Project Manager, specializing in project management for municipal capital improvement programs. His expertise includes the design and construction of roadway, storm drain, water/wastewater, and traffic improvement projects, as well as bond programs, private and commercial development, and state-funded work. Most recently, he served as a CIP Engineer and Project Manager at the City of McKinney, managing roadway, public utility, and traffic projects from design through construction.

"Communities today are thinking beyond individual projects and focusing on how transportation, utilities, and public infrastructure work together to support growth," said Will Letchworth, Vice President of Transportation at McAdams. "Michael and Brook bring the experience needed to help our clients turn those long-term visions into reality.”

For more than 30 years, McAdams’ Dallas-Fort Worth offices have served as a partner across one of the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan regions. The firm’s DFW-based professionals deliver multidisciplinary engineering, planning, landscape architecture, transportation, and geomatics services, working alongside developers, municipalities, architects, and institutional clients to advance development and infrastructure projects that shape the future of North Texas.
