Pigford has nearly 20 years of experience working across a wide variety of projects, and has built a reputation for strong project delivery, design integration, sustainable design, and innovative initiatives. Among her key clients are AutoNation, Starbucks, Sewell Automotive, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Toyota Motor Sales.
Pigford previously served as a Design Program Manager at Starbucks Coffee Co. in the Dallas Corporate Design Studio, where she led retail store design and development in Starbucks’ South-Central Region. Prior to Starbucks, Gianna spent 13 years in the Dallas area working on several projects of note including the adaptive reuse of the Dallas County Record Building, renovation of the iconic Reunion Tower in Dallas, and renovation of the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles.
Pigford is an active member of the Dallas community and committed to professional and community improvement nationally. She is regularly involved with American Institute of Architects (AIA) Dallas, National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), Urban Land Institute, Texas Society of Architects, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards’ (NCARB) Experience Committee chair. Pigford was named one of the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2015.
Pigford received a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Mississippi State University, is a registered architect in multiple states, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a NCARB certified architect.
