HOUSTON, TX — Bartlett Cocke General Contractors announces the promotion of Matt Bragg to Vice President of Operations, Houston, which also encompasses the Bryan/College Station area in Texas.
An employee-owner with nearly 20 years of industry experience, including the past 16 years with Bartlett Cocke, Bragg has built a career leading projects across higher education, health care, K–12, and commercial markets. His leadership and operational expertise have contributed to projects for major organizations.
Most recently serving as Project Executive, Bragg was recognized in 2024 as the first-ever recipient of the Bartlett Cocke Pinnacle Award, honoring his leadership, integrity, and embodiment of the company’s core values.

Bragg holds both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Texas State University and served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S Army for nearly 25 years, as well as taught construction science courses at Texas State University.
