New Business Development Professional, Wadlington, Joins MYCON General Contractors, Inc.
“Jacob is a natural leader, with a keen eye for industry trends,” said Charles R. Myers, President and CEO of MYCON. “He has a diverse business development background, and will lead our strategic planning efforts, helping us expand our target markets.”
Wadlington is transitioning into current Vice President of Business Development Dana Walters’ role as she prepares for retirement. Walters has been in the industry for 25 years, 19 of which have been with MYCON, and is set to retire in 2023.
“I couldn’t think of a better fit for this role,” Walters said. “Jacob is a data-driven and strategic professional who operates with integrity — in perfect alignment with MYCON’s core values.”
Wadlington received his Bachelor of Science from Lipscomb University and his Master of Science from Texas Christian University. With over 10 years of experience, he has a proven sales track record and knowledge of the commercial and residential real estate development industry. In addition to his commercial construction industry experience, Wadlington worked alongside his family in the lumber industry.
