DALLAS, TX — Lauren Collins is stepping into the role of Safety and Total Rewards Director at Garver. Collins is a Texas A&M graduate with a Bachelor of Science in construction science and 19 years of experience in the construction, safety, and human resources fields. In her role, she will head Safety Services, ensuring safety from the job site to the office, and she will also head Total Rewards, ensuring employees get the most out of their benefits.

Dual leadership roles, like her latest at Garver, are nothing new to Collins, who previously served in many leadership positions at Kiewit, a construction and engineering company. Before joining Garver, Collins was the Senior Business Partner in human resources and led the people programming for the Water Facilities District and the human resources department. Collins’ previous work as an Estimator and Project Engineer included managing and overseeing safety.

Collins has also served as an Adjunct Professor for Montana State University’s Construction Engineering Department, a Project Manager for C Construction in Texas, and a Market Analyst for Clark Construction in Maryland.

Collins will be based in Garver’s downtown Dallas office and will report to John Shaw, Chief Human Resources Officer at the firm.
