AUSTIN, TX — Sundt Construction welcomes Chase W. Myers, PE, as a Design Manager for Sundt’s Transportation Group, where he will support transportation design-build projects across the region, beginning with the Austin Light Rail project.
As Design Manager, Myers serves as a key connection between design and construction teams, coordinating across disciplines to ensure alignment while leading constructability reviews supporting efficient, buildable delivery.
“Chase brings a deep understanding of transportation design and a practical, solutions-focused approach that aligns with how we deliver projects,” said Shane Malkowski, PE, Engineering Director for Sundt’s Transportation Group. “His ability to bridge design and construction is a strong asset to our teams and our clients.”
Myers brings more than 25 years of experience in transportation design and project management. His experience includes the $80 million SH 71 project in Bastrop, Texas, converting a four-lane divided highway into a freeway with new overpasses, frontage roads, and ramps. In addition, Myers managed the Ronald Reagan Boulevard expansion in Williamson County, where he delivered the project while managing late-stage design changes, minimizing rework, and cost impacts.
Myers holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Arizona State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
