Escalante has over 14 years of experience in transportation planning in the greater Los Angeles area. Her project experience includes planning duties for the West Santa Ana Branch Transit Corridor, the Beverly Hills Complete Streets Plan, the Metro G (Orange) Line Speed Evaluation Study, the Metro G (Orange) Line Grade Separation Feasibility Study, and the Wilshire Boulevard Bus Rapid Transit Project. Prior to joining HNTB, she worked with other infrastructure firms on projects for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and several local cities.
Escalante received a Bachelor of Science in environmental policy analysis and planning from University of California, Davis, and holds certifications in both geographic information systems and transportation management.
