DEERFIELD, IL — Ramin Younessi will replace Tom Pellette to lead Caterpillar’s Construction Industries segment. Younessi is currently the Group President of Energy & Transportation, and he has more than 30 years of leadership inside and outside of Caterpillar. He will now be responsible for the company’s earthmoving, excavation, building construction projects and more, according to the company.
Billy Ainsworth, the current Senior Vice President of the Cat rail division, will take Younessi’s place. Previously, Ainsworth served as Strategic Advisor to the Cat executive office.
Joe Creed will now lead the new oil, gas and marine division, while Pablo Koziner will lead the new electric power division. Creed most recently served as interim Chief Financial Officer for the company, and Koziner has nearly 20 years of experience in various roles around the world.
Marty Haycraft has also been named the Vice President of Cat’s rail division, and Kyle Epley was named the Vice President of the finance services division. Haycraft is currently the President of Progress Rail’s global operations. Epley currently serves as a Corporate Controller.
