CHICAGO, IL — Gilbane Building Company announces that Jeff Janicek joined the team as a Senior Project Executive and Healthcare Market Leader for the Chicago business unit. Janicek has 37 years of experience in the Midwest construction industry. He will leverage his expertise to drive project consistency and elevate Gilbane’s focus on the health care, life sciences, and higher education markets.

During his career, Janicek has developed and executed successful business plans that resulted in company creation and growth. He is an advocate and industry leader in implementing Lean construction practices. Janicek has led numerous high-profile projects for health care clients, including Silver Cross Hospital, Advocate Aurora Health, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, Rush University Medical Center, and Northwestern Medicine.

Janicek has a construction engineering degree from Bradley University and is a certified Healthcare Contractor.
