CHICAGO, IL — Gilbane Building Company, a construction and facilities management company, announces Tim Cooper’s appointment as Senior Vice President and Division Leader for the Illinois and Indiana markets.

Cooper brings significant experience to Gilbane from over 30 years in the Midwest construction industry. Cooper’s expertise spans a diverse market portfolio and complex delivery methods. He brings nearly three decades of experience working for a Midwest-based construction manager. During his tenure, he held diverse roles within the organization, ranging from project management on health care projects to his most recent position as Executive Vice President, where he successfully directed operations across multiple offices, including Barrington, Illinois; Chicago, Illinois; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with significant project experience in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.
Cooper will play a pivotal role in Gilbane’s continued growth in Chicago, leveraging his extensive experience and industry insights in the local market. Simultaneously, he will lead Gilbane’s efforts in Indiana, driving long-term expansion and building a strong local presence.

Cooper is an active member of the local community. He serves on the boards of the Chicagoland Associated General Contractors and the American Heart Association Hard Hats for Heart and is also a member of ASHE.
