SPRINGFIELD, IL — Each year, the Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers (IAAP) recognizes IAAP member companies and individuals with Industry Leadership Awards. The awards honor those who demonstrate leadership excellence within the industry, promote and advance the image and well-being of Illinois aggregate mining, and energize their peers and the public in the industry’s purpose. This year, two member companies stood out above the rest: Ozinga and West Side Tractor Sales.

West Side Tractor Sales has been a staple at IAAP events for many years, having routinely sponsored both the IAAP golf outing and annual convention. This company has opened its door to many other IAAP member companies in community and outreach.

The company has hosted IAAP board members for a meeting and reception, as well as the first meet up of the IAAP’s 2023 Emerging Leaders. Both the board and Emerging Leaders were given a tour of their facilities. This past fall, West Side Tractor Sales also hosted the Sustainability Committee’s first ever Sustainability, Solutions, and Suds event, bringing in two speakers to discuss how they are making a difference.

West Side Tractor Sales advocates for progress and preserves the IAAP’s industry values. The company's dedication has helped them become this year’s Sustainability Award recipient.
