Seiler President Eric “Rick” Seiler Jr. and Vice President Tom Seiler; geospatial and CAD staff; and vendor representatives from Trimble, Spectra Precision, Screening Eagle, and more were on hand to greet customers, express their appreciation, and answer questions. Festivities included demos and presentations on Seiler Geospatial equipment, food, giveaways, and the chance to win door prizes.
“We are celebrating our customer appreciation days here in St. Louis and in each of our eight offices in seven states to show our appreciation and showcase and share with our customers all the new solutions and technologies that we have," Tom said. "We are counting our blessings with our many decades-long relationships with our customers across construction, architecture, surveying, and mapping. We really deal with a lot of professionals, and we try to give them exactly what they expect and deserve in a supplier.”
“Our customers come in and they have big projects that they are working on, and everything is all about getting it in on time and under budget. ... Our technology has helped get that done,” said Michael O’Grady, Business Development Director at Seiler Geospatial.
Some of the new Trimble equipment on display were the X-12 High Resolution Scanner, which scans at 2.187 million points per second and has a range of 0.3 meters to 365 meters; and a couple new receivers, the R750 and the R780. Tom also introduced a Swiss-made, penetrating radar product that works in both ground and concrete.

“It’s made by a company called Screening Eagle and with ground penetrating radar and GPS integrated with it, it’s really a very strong solution at a very low price,” O’Grady said. “Drones, scanning equipment — all the toys are here. Toys for big boys, I always say.”
