PEORIA, IL — Recently at the WeaverRidge and Coyote Creek golf clubs in Peoria, Illinois, 186 golfers attended the Illinois Association of Aggregate Producer's (IAAP) 2023 Annual Golf Outing. Using a scramble format, the golf outing offered an opportunity for friendly competition and networking. In addition to golf, members gathered for dinner, door prizes, and trophy awards at the end of the day.

The support from all attendees raised $18,900 for the IAAP Political Action Committee. In addition, Emerging Leaders sold 50/50 raffle tickets, raising a total of $1,063 for the IAAP’s Rocks, Minerals & Mining Workshop for Illinois teachers. Greg Coker (Facilitator of the Emerging Leaders and keynote speaker at the 2022 and 2023 Conventions) purchased the winning 50/50 raffle ticket.
